Stephanie is a Wisconsin native who has always had a strong passion for animals and science. She received her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Stephanie has been working in surgical research since 2012 at the Labcorp Madison, WI and Somerset, NJ locations. She joined ASR in 2021 and received the Barry Sauer award for SRT certification. She completed her SRS certification 2024, again winning the Barry Sauer award. She also attained her SRA in 2025. She has been an active member of the Communications Committee since 2022, putting together much of the content for the last several Surgical Savvy newsletters, and recently joined the Certification and Veterinary Oversight Committees. Stephanie presented at the annual meetings in 2023 and 2025. Stephanie has found the knowledge shared and connections made through ASR to be invaluable.
