Wet Lab #3 – Cardiopulmonary Bypass Machine Training

Participants will learn bypass machine setup, arrested vs beating heart, anesthetic methods and bypass monitoring techniques. Participants should have a working knowledge of blood gas interpretation and therapies, including venous and arterial. Prior to wet lab attendance, participants must view bypass machine setup video.

The bus departs Embassy Suites promptly at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 17^th from the lobby. It will first drop off to DSI around 8 am for those wet labs and then drop off at NAMSA at around 8:30 am. The return bus to Embassy Suits will pickup at DSI at 3:00 pm and then pick up at NAMSA at approximately 3:30 pm.
