José Antonio Diaz, MD, is a Vascular Surgeon-Scientist trained in Cardiovascular and General Surgery with an additional specialization in Phlebology. Following his career as a surgeon in Argentina, he moved to the US to pursue a research career, where he now serves as Director of the Division of Surgical Research at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
